Mental Health Counseling

Wherever you are in this moment, there are ways to tend to it…

Sometimes in life we may feel “stuck” and unsure how to move, overwhelmed, or alone. We may experience depression or anxiety, go through an experience that leaves us shaken, or hit the end of our rope and burnout. For some of us, we reach a place in life where we lose touch with ourselves or perhaps even come to a crossroads where we have a drastic shift in our understanding of the world and question all that we have known. It is in these times where we may be looking for extra support and need a calm, compassionate space to be seen…

Wherever or “however” you are in this moment, there is space to hold all of the complexity, ambiguity, joy, and pain. Often by tending to these places that feel dark or overwhelming, we can bring healing, lessen anxiety, and live life more fully. As a therapist I work to hold space for clients to gently explore these areas in a non-judgmental, curious, and compassionate way.

The doors to the world of the wild Self are few but precious. If you have a deep scar, that is a door, if you have an old, old story, that is a door. If you love the sky and the water so much you almost cannot bear it, that is a door. If you yearn for a deeper life, a full life, a sane life, that is a door.
